Who Will Step Into Feroz Khan & Pradeep Kumar’s Shoes To Romance Aishwarya?
The hunt for the two heroes in Raat Aur Din (1967) remake is in full flow. It will be interesting to see who essays the flamboyant Feroz Khan and the sober Pradeep Kumar in this one
It’s now official
that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will recreate Nargis’s role of a woman
suffering from multiple disorder in Raat Aur Din (1967).
The film will be produced by KriArj Entertainement (Prernaa Arora and Arjun N
Kapoor).

has it the makers have actively begun hunting for the two heroes who will
romance Aishwarya in the venture. While the makers are yet to finalise on the
actors, it will be interesting to see who essays the roles of (Late) Feroz Khan
and (Late) Pradeep Kumar (the original had two heroes) in this one.

In an interview
to a leading daily, Prernaa had revealed that the Raat Aur Din remake is
currently in the planning stage. “It will be a homage to Nargisji and is a
special project for all of us. Aishwarya has already said that she would love
to play the main role. I have also discussed the project with Sanjay sir
(Dutt), and he has approved of the idea and our choice of Ash to play the role
originally essayed by his late actress-mother.”

The last time
Aishwarya romanced two heroes was in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil Chuke
Sanam (1999).

Furthermore, Nargis,
won the National Film Award for Best Actress for the project.
The film,
directed by Satyaen Bose, revolves around Varuna (Nargis), who by day is a
typical homemaker, whilst at night she calls herself Peggy and walks the
streets of Calcutta.
The film won
critical acclaim for its story and Nargis' performance as Varuna. Over the
years it has developed a cult following. Raat Aur Din is also remembered for
its melodious soundtrack.

While the makers
will soon finalise the two actors, it’s certain that they have huge shoes to
